Chef Erik A. Hinds will present "Culinary Anthropology: A Taste of Potawatomi Heritage" with grant sponsorship from Indiana Humanities & the National Endowment for the Humanities. Experience a modern menu inspired by seasonal flavors from the Potawatomi culinary tradition:
- Strawberry & milkweed leaf salad with juneberry vinaigrette and maple candied walnuts
- Tempura dandelion fritters with plum and Brie cheese sauce drizzle and fresh spotted bee balm leaves
- Pecan & hazelnut crusted walleye with quinoa, calico corn, beans, zoodles, and chipotle strawberry gastrique
- Sassafras ice cream with candied maple seed pods, juneberry compote, and milkweed flowers
Registration is required. Admission is $5 for museum members or $10 for guests (payable online).
