Preserving History Networking Seminar 2024

The Cedar Lake Historical Association invites you to an afternoon at the lake at The Museum at Lassen's Resort. Join professionals and volunteers from preservation and historical organizations to learn, brainstorm, and network. A lunch prepared by Lassen's Resort Chef Erik Hinds will be followed by roundtable sessions.  The meal will feature Lassen's signature sparkling lemonade, Potawatomi-inspired potato salad, Monon roast beef & turkey sandwich with homemade giardiniera, and Taylor's ice box cake. Please specify if you require a vegetarian sandwich option. Our roundtable facilitators are Brian Failing, Executive Director at Aurora Regional Fire Museum, Mario Longoni, Lead Environmental Social Scientist of the Keller Science Action Center at The Field Museum, and Julie Zasada, Executive Director of the Cedar Lake Historical Association which operates The Museum at Lassen's Resort & Dewey Line resort history cruises.
